Batch #228 ~ Diesel Stout-Stout ~ January.2026

My last batch of homebrew for awhile, I will work to transition to an electric brewing system, perhaps the Grainfather 70.

Meanwhile, literally using up the last of my Chocolate Malt in this one last batch, the resulting stout is so rich, it is best poured over ice.

The label commemorates the greatest transportation invention of all time, and the most fun you can have with your clothes on, the Bicycle, here standing indefiance of rising gas prices.  Below is where they stand in my town today, $1.36 higher yet.  I ain't buying it.

I'm avoiding it.

Batch #227 ~ "Inflation Clown Red Ale" ~ September.2025

A little over a year after the brewing and bottling, I am posting this two days after the Epic and Historic 2026 Elections, and I'm very pleased to report that the "Inflation Clown's" era is coming to an end.

The American voters came out in droves to turn Texas and many other solid Red states, SOLID BLUE, in a dramatic rebuke to President Trump's failed policies.  Gas prices are even higher now, and only when the new Congress can force ends to the Iran and Ukraine wars, will we see costs begin to fall, if ever.

I couldn't bear to have his actual face on my beer label - thanks Photoshop.

Red Ale and Caramel 50 malts, Summit, Centennial and Saaz hops.

 Cheers!  MT

Batch #226 ~ Ladies' Best Red Rye Ale ~ May.2025

Celebrating two incredible Lady Ski Racers:

Mikaela Shiffrin, greatest ski racer of all time, bar none, man or woman, and

Lindsey Vonn, former greatest female downhill ski racer of all time.  Seeking a comeback after a long absence from the racing world, Lindsey trained harder than ever, came back in Autumn 2025 to win several World Cup races, and joined the 2026 Olympics.  Tragically, Vonn hooked a ski pole in an early gate, suffering a high speed crash that broke her leg.  This racer is as competitive as anyone ever, and is fighting to come back again.

This homebrew is made with Caramel Rye and Red Ale malts, Centennial and Cascade hops.  7.5% a.b.v., because I didn't use that much water.

Cheers!
